Remember that button that used to turn every template into your brand style in literally 2 clicks? It was called the ‘Styles’ button.

But from one day to another, it went missing. And there was panick..

No worries, because it’s still available in Canva! But on a different place.

Here's how it works 👇

How to turn any Canva template into your brand style:

Now, the downside is that you cannot change all fonts and colors at once anymore. The process is split into 2 parts:

For changing all colors in your design into your brand colors, you’d first need to setup a Color Theme in your brand kit.

  1. Open your brand kit in Canva and open the Color section. Setup color combinations for backgrounds, elements, and text.

  1. Open any template in Canva and go to your Brand kit. Select the color theme you just setup and shuffle for the combo you want to use. Click ‘apply to all pages’ to update all pages in your design:

  1. For fonts: Select the text you want to update. Open the font library, select ‘text styles’ and choose your brand font. Click ‘apply to all pages’ to update on all pages in your design.

Personally I don’t think this workaround is better OR faster than the previous workflow… I think Canva might have some other updates coming too, that will explain why they split up the fonts and colors.. But for now, it works!
